Lead Artist, Art Strategy for The National Secure Adolescent Inpatient Service
The new National Secure Adolescent Inpatient Service for Scotland (NSAIS) will be on the Ayrshire Central Hospital campus in Irvine, North Ayrshire and will provide appropriate care for young people from across Scotland.
In 2020 I was appointed Lead Artist, working with Fremantle Consultants in producing and delivering the Arts and Design Strategy for NSAIS. Construction work is ongoing on site by Kier, NHS Ayrshire & Arran’s construction partner in this project, and the facility is expected to welcome its first patients by the end of 2023/ beginning of 2024.
